Ren Fernando
Ren Fernando is an architect, artist and Co-Founder of ReLove. Ren is deeply committed to social and environmental change. As an architect trained in sustainability, Ren saw an opportunity to reduce furniture waste and, at the same time, support those in need to furnish safe homes. Ren is a Finalist in the 2025 Australian of the Year, Finalist Marie Claire Woman of the Year, AMP Tomorrow Maker 2023 and NSW Local Woman of the Year 2022.

Ben Stammer
Ben Stammer is a social entrepreneur and Co-Founder of ReLove, dedicated to creating meaningful change through sustainable solutions. Before launching ReLove in 2020 with Ren Fernando, Ben spent 25 years in banking with Deutsche Bank/Bankers Trust and advised Indigenous-run businesses on accessing loan capital. Ben is a Finalist in the 2025 Australian of the Year and 2023 Westfield Local Hero.

ReLove transforms empty spaces into homes for women and children escaping domestic violence and individuals experiencing homelessness. At the ReLove Free Store, clients can choose high-quality furniture, household goods, and all the essentials needed for a fresh start. Within days, ReLove delivers and sets up their new home, ensuring a seamless transition out of crisis. Working with over 75 charity partners, ReLove supports individuals and families as they move into safe housing. ReLove has furnished homes for 780 families in the past year alone, including 1,200 children.

By sourcing furniture and household items at scale from corporate relocations, hotel refurbishments, surplus stock, and community donations, ReLove diverts quality goods from landfill while changing lives.

ReLove was named the 2023 Tmrrw Awards Changemaker of the Year in recognition of its social and environmental impact.
