PHILLIPA LE ROUX

Design & Project Director, Australasia, Hilton

Phillipa has enjoyed over 20-years in hospitality design and architecture, having started in the spa and wellness sector, and then working for global hospitality design consultants WATG, on projects from urban spa retreats to large-scale resorts.

Phillipa joined Hilton’s Global Design Team based in London in 2012, where she supported Owners and Developers concentrating on hotel design excellence and designing for operational efficiency. In 2018, Phillipa moved to Hilton’s Australasian leadership team and supports the region’s growth ambitions which is to organically introduce the company’s world-class brands to travelers in key markets, expanding within the luxury, lifestyle and focused service segments.

Phillipa works collaboratively with all project stakeholders, using her strengths in hotel design and planning combined with an astute commercial focus and practical sustainability approach to optimise Owners return on investment.

Raised in rural South Africa, Phillipa has a big heart for conservation and is proud of Hilton’s strong commitment to sustainability through its Travel with Purpose goals.

Phillipa holds a Chartered Architectural qualification, a certificate in Passive House Design, and a Bachelor of Commerce.
