Andrew Lymn-Penning is a course coordinator, lecturer, and PhD candidate at the University of South Australia. His research, “Immersivity and Fidelity: Architecture, Design and Game Engines,” explores how technology can augment architectural education through SiteSeer, a virtual construction platform. Andrew’s recent research outputs specifically address the integration of artificial intelligence in architectural education, highlighting both its creative advantages and critical ethical considerations. He is also part of the recipient team of the AASA-supported grant project “The Architect’s Dream,” an exhibition at Melbourne Design Week that critically examines AI’s potential to redefine the future of architectural design.
