Recently appointed to the newly created role of Director, Development Australasia for Langham Hospitality Group, Alison is responsible for crafting and executing the group’s strategic growth and development plans for the region, with a focus on building its hotel management business and expanding the presence of its iconic brands – The

Langham Hotels & Resorts, Cordis Hotels & Resorts, Eaton, and Ying’nFlo.

Alison brings with her over 30 years of successful hotel and hospitality operations experience to the role, including a solid background in the areas of hotel development; pre opening experience; retail sales strategy; and successful bar and restaurant management. That background includes five years with InterContinental Hotels Group, where she led the company’s Australasia and Japan Restaurants and Bars division and additionally held roles with Hyatt Hotels, Accor Group and independent restaurant operations groups

Alison has also spent a significant part of her career as a hospitality consultant; founding JACK Hospitality Consulting as Australia’s first majority Indigenous owned, female led Hospitality Consulting firm who in turn has served as a key adviser to company’s such as Moet & Chandon, Google, independent restaurants and hotel management operators.
