KATHERINE CAMERON

Director, Enzyme Consulting

Katherine Cameron is a Singapore-based hospitality design and development strategist with over 15 years of experience leading complex hotel and F&B projects from concept through opening across Asia-Pacific. A Civil and Environmental Engineer by training, she specialises in translating design intent into operational reality — bridging owners, architects, and operators to ensure that what gets built functions effectively, creates value and generates fantastic experiences. Her portfolio spans luxury and lifestyle properties for Four Seasons, Hilton, Marriott, Oberoi, Hyatt, and The Standard, with multiple award-winning projects including SBID, IIDA Global Excellence, and AHEAD Asia recognitions.

Katherine’s career path is distinctive: from fine dining and sommelier roles on the floor, to co-founding an immersive F&B events consultancy working with Bompas & Parr and Dark Mofo, to managing constructions for the Paddock Club and Team Hospitality at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix, to directing a multi-million-dollar APAC design portfolio across 15+ concurrent hotel projects. That range — from front-of-house operations to construction coordination — gives her an uncommon ability to see hospitality spaces from the guest’s perspective, the operator’s workflow, and the developer’s balance sheet simultaneously.

Katherine is Co-Chair of Design Inn SEA and Chair of the Australasia-Pacific Hotel Design Awards. She is a regular speaker at AHICE, Food & Hotel Asia, and hotel investment conferences across the region, and has guest lectured at the National University of Singapore on sustainability in luxury hospitality. Her current work focuses on regenerative hospitality development, embedding ecological and community-led design principles into projects from briefing stage through operations.
