Dugal has recently completed the $100m refurbishment of Astral Hotel Tower, Astral Residences, and Executive Lounge at The STAR Sydney and is currently driving the detailed $60m refurbishment of the entire western entry of the STAR property with SHAPE as the project’s Head Contractor.

With over 20 years of local & international experience in hotel and resort developments, Dugal has been involved in opening more than 30 new hotels and refurbishing over 15 hotels. He has unique whole of business experience across all aspects of hotel property development with extensive hands on hotel and F&B operational knowledge.

His demonstrated ability to build and manage collaborative business and stakeholder relationships optimises project success. He compliments this by establishing and managing high performing project teams, while mentoring and guiding staff across all areas of the project lifespan through to project completion and operator handover.
